Join the Spearfish Chamber of Commerce in celebration of a successful summer with good eats and great company at the Annual Community Picnic ~ Thursday August 26. Hosted by the Chamber and sponsored in part by MDU, Perkins Restaurant, Wells Fargo Bank and Lueders Food Center; the picnic on Thursday, is from 6 to 7 p.m. at the large shelter behind the band shell in Spearfish City Park. It’ll be a smokin’ good time as the Spearfish Chamber serves up delicious barbequed beef with all the fixin’s while the Happy Times Band entertains. Cost is six dollars adults, Three dollars Children 4 to 10 and under age 4 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Spearfish Chamber office ~ corner of Main and Kansas Streets ~ or by calling 642-2626.

Independence Day Parade
June 24th, 2010Get out the lawn chairs and sun-screen and come enjoy the 4th of July parade through Spearfish.
Parade starts at 1:00 at the BHSU Young Center parking lot, heads down St. Joe, Jackson Blvd., Main Street, Grant Street and ends at Spearfish City Park.
Community Ice Cream Social to follow at the Spearfish City Park sponsored by the City of Spearfish.
Harley In the House
June 24th, 2010It’s time for the 16th annual Chamber fundraiser. This year’s prize features a beautiful 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King or the option of $10,000 cash.
Only 499 tickets will be sold at $100 each!

China Trip Presentation
March 22nd, 2010The Spearfish Area Chamber of Commerce will host a special presentation of the Citslinc China Tour, on Wednesday, March 24 from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Spearfish Chamber office, 106 W. Kansas St (corner of Main & Kansas), Spearfish. Nicole Ott, Communication Director for the Rapid City Chamber, will give a glimpse of the trip and firsthand advice on what to expect. Nicole won a trip for two at the 2009 Mid America Chamber Executives conference and was able to travel with the Eau Claire, Wisconsin Chamber in October 2009. It should be very helpful to get firsthand impressions and tips for travel from someone who’s been on the same tour the Spearrfish Chamber has planned for October 16-24, 2010.
