Join the Spearfish Chamber of Commerce in celebration of a successful summer with good eats and great company at the Annual Community Picnic ~ Thursday August 26. Hosted by the Chamber and sponsored in part by MDU, Perkins Restaurant, Wells Fargo Bank and Lueders Food Center; the picnic on Thursday, is from 6 to 7 p.m. at the large shelter behind the band shell in Spearfish City Park. It’ll be a smokin’ good time as the Spearfish Chamber serves up delicious barbequed beef with all the fixin’s while the Happy Times Band entertains. Cost is six dollars adults, Three dollars Children 4 to 10 and under age 4 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Spearfish Chamber office ~ corner of Main and Kansas Streets ~ or by calling 642-2626.
